On June 1, 2024, Elder Vaiangina Sikahema lead the groundbreaking and site dedication for the Cleveland Ohio Temple. This significant event marked the beginning of an incredible journey for both the church community and the local population.
Design and Size: A Temple to Behold
Scheduled to rise prominently at an elevation of 733 feet, the Cleveland Ohio Temple will cover a sprawling 9,900 square feet, making it the second-largest temple in Ohio. Constructed with a beautiful granite exterior, its single attached central spire promises to be a distinctive feature, though it will notably lack the iconic gold-leafed Angel Moroni. The design, revealed to the public on July 25, 2023, reflects a modern architectural style while remaining true to the spiritual mission of the temple.
