Nestled in the heart of Pocatello, Idaho, the Pocatello Idaho Temple stands as a beautiful testament to faith and community. Officially dedicated on November 7, 2021, by the esteemed Apostle M. Russell Ballard, this striking temple is the 170th in operation for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Strategically located at 3100 Butte St, the temple is easily accessible from both Interstate 15 and Interstate 86, making it a beacon of light for locals and visitors alike. Spanning across 10.94 acres, the temple boasts an impressive architectural design featuring an elegant white granite exterior sourced from China, and a stunning gold-leafed statue of the Angel Moroni atop a single spire. As you approach the temple, you'll be captivated by its serene surroundings, adorned with over 500 trees and a vibrant display of flowers. The grounds showcase lovely species such as the Norwegian sunset maple and the Dolgo crabapple, while colorful shrubs like English lavender and snow queen hydrangea bring a lively touch to the landscape.
