The Fort Collins Colorado Temple commenced its journey with a groundbreaking and site dedication on August 24, 2013, officiated by Ronald A. Rasband. This event marked the beginning of a new chapter for the area, as plans unfolded for this sacred space.

Occupying 15.69 acres, the Temple is constructed from beige concrete panels. It features a single attached central tower topped with a gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue, which was installed on August 26, 2015. With a total area of 42,000 square feet and a height of 112 feet, the Temple enriches the skyline of Fort Collins. It is also notable for being the second Temple built in Colorado.

From August 19 through September 10, 2016, the Fort Collins Colorado Temple held a public open house, welcoming 105,000 individuals who toured its beautiful interior.
