Located at 1400 E Center St, Heber City, Utah 84032, the Heber Valley Utah Temple was announced on October 3, 2021, during the October General Conference. The groundbreaking and site dedication took place just over a year later on October 8, 2022, led by President Russell M. Nelson.
The Heber Valley Utah Temple will occupy a generous 18.17 acres of land, featuring architectural elements including two attached end towers, making it distinct in design, notably without a Gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue.
Inside, the Temple will boast four instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and a single baptistry, designed to accommodate the needs of its patrons. It will be classified as a large Temple within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with a total area of 87,626 square feet.
Standing tall at 210 feet, the Temple will be located at an elevation of 6,711 feet, offering stunning views of the picturesque rural setting of Heber Valley. This area is nestled in Wasatch County, just over 40 miles from Salt Lake City, known for its natural beauty and serene landscapes.
