The anticipated completion of this Temple marks an important milestone in the region.
Specifications and Features
Located at 1400 E Center St, Heber City, Utah, the Heber Valley Utah Temple will be built on an 18.17-acre lot. Designed to span 87,626 square feet, this will classify it as a large Temple, given that any building in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints over 80,000 square feet meets this criteria. Standing tall at 210 feet and set at an elevation of 6,711 feet, this Temple will certainly add to the horizon of the beautiful rural mountain valley.
The architectural features of the Heber Valley Utah Temple are sure to turn heads with its two attached end towers, distinctively designed without the more commonly seen Gold-leafed Angel Moroni statue. It will also include four instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and a single baptistry.
A Picturesque Setting
For those unfamiliar with the area, Heber Valley offers stunning views and a picturesque backdrop made up of mountainous terrain and lush landscapes. Located just over 40 miles from Salt Lake City in Wasatch County, it is a region renowned for its natural beauty.
What’s Next?
With construction finally moving forward and with the architectural plans set in place, anticipation grows for the Heber Valley Utah Temple as it prepares to become the 28th Temple in Utah. The community looks forward to seeing this exceptional addition come to life in the heart of Heber Valley.
