The Provo Utah Rock Canyon Temple is a major new temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints rising on Temple Hill in Provo. Announced by President Russell M. Nelson on October 3, 2021, the building is a large, modern temple project with a prominent granite exterior and distinctive single central spire. Site and location

• The temple will be built on a 17-acre site. This is slightly larger than the previous site in the same general area, which was 15 acres; the increase is due in part to the removal of a road that had previously run in front of the old temple site.
