The announcement for the Ephraim Utah Temple came on May 1, 2021, setting the stage for what would become a remarkable construction journey. On August 27, 2022, President Russell M. Nelson, the current prophet of the Church, conducted the groundbreaking and site dedication ceremony, officially launching the physical construction phase of this significant religious building.
Architectural Specifications
The Ephraim Utah Temple spans an impressive 39,000 square feet of beautifully designed space. The architectural layout includes:
- Four instruction rooms — each capable of seating 30 people comfortably
- Three sealing rooms — dedicated spaces for sacred ordinances
