Plans for this significant addition were announced by President Russell M. Nelson on April 4, 2021. With a vibrant population of approximately 154,000 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oregon, the construction of the Willamette Valley Oregon Temple marks an important milestone for the local Latter-day Saint community.
