The journey for the Bacolod Philippines Temple began on October 5, 2019, when Prophet Russell M. Nelson announced its construction during the 189th Semiannual General Conference. The official groundbreaking took place on December 11, 2021, led by Elder Taniela B. Wakolo.

Location and Size

Nestled on 12.3 acres at Lot 1, Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road, Barangay Bata, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, the Temple stands majestically at an elevation of 93 feet. Its cream-colored exterior is capped with a stunning bronze-domed cupola, adding a touch of elegance to the landscape.

Features and Facilities

Inside, the Bacolod Philippines Temple is designed to accommodate various needs. It boasts two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry, providing essential spaces for numerous ceremonies. Additionally, plans for a separate building dedicated to patron housing are in place, along with a distribution center conveniently located on the same lot.
