Spanning an impressive 87,836 square feet, it is built on 22.71 acres at an elevation of 4,652 feet. The towering structure reaches a height of 199 feet and features a single attached central spire topped with a gold-leafed Angel Moroni statue.

The announcement for the Saratoga Springs Utah Temple was made by Prophet Thomas S. Monson during General Conference on April 2, 2017. The groundbreaking and site dedication took place on October 19, 2018, officiated by Craig C.
