The Saratoga Springs Utah Temple, the 179th dedicated Temple in operation, stands as a remarkable addition to the landscape of Utah. Located at 987 South Ensign Drive, Saratoga Springs, Utah 84045, this beautiful facility has quickly become a focal point for many.
A Brief History
Announced on April 2, 2017, by the Prophet Thomas S. Monson, the Saratoga Springs Utah Temple emerged during a time when there were already 16 dedicated temples in Utah. These include the likes of the Bountiful Utah Temple, Brigham City Utah Temple, and more. Groundbreaking took place on October 19, 2019, led by Craig C. Christensen, marking an important step in its development.
In preparation for its dedication, a public open house occurred from April 15, 2023, through July 8, 2023, attracting 587,809 guests who toured the facility. The Temple was officially dedicated on August 13, 2023, by Apostle Henry B. Eyring.
Architectural Features
The Saratoga Springs Utah Temple covers an impressive 97,836 square feet and is situated on 22.71 acres at an elevation of 4,652 feet. Its exterior is finished with beige precast concrete panels, which are eight inches thick, complemented by a striking central spire adorned with a gold leafed Angel Moroni Statue.

The baptistry features artistic designs, with Mosaic Brillante glass tiles in a palette of blues, whites, creams, and purples, while restroom floors incorporate unique “rug-like” patterns.
Decorative features are abundant, with elements such as stylized wildflowers in the paint and art glass designs echoing local flora and fauna. The light fixtures in the bride’s room are manufactured with Swarovski Crystal, adding a luxurious touch.
