Architectural Features

The Cleveland Ohio Temple will be constructed on a 12.5-acre plot, allowing for ample grounds surrounding the House of the Lord. This location will feature a large design with a total area of 9,900 square feet.

The exterior of the House of the Lord will be elegantly finished in granite, contributing to a timeless aesthetic. Notably, the design includes a single attached central spire, albeit without a gold-leafed representation of the Angel Moroni.

The House of the Lord will be situated at 5997 Brecksville Road, Independence, Ohio 44131. This location has been officially designated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since its announcement on April 3, 2022, during the 194th General Conference.

As the second Temple in Ohio, the Cleveland Ohio Temple will serve a growing membership base, which at the time of the announcement included over 63,000 members and 125 congregations throughout the state.
