Dunn officiated the groundbreaking and dedication of the House of the Lord. Architectural Features
The architectural design of the Austin Texas Temple includes a single attached central tower, making it a distinctive feature in the area. Covering an area of 30,000 square feet, the House of the Lord is crafted with functional spaces that include two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and one baptistry. Set on a 10.6-acre lot, the elevation reaches 897 feet, providing a sense of prominence within Cedar Park.
Current Progress
As of now, construction is actively taking place, focusing on sheathing, waterproofing, and cladding the exterior, as well as decking the roof. The rendering of the Austin Texas Temple was released to the public on September 5, 2023, allowing for a glimpse into its future beauty and purpose.

This temple will be the seventh of its kind in Texas, complementing existing Houses of the Lord including the Dallas Texas Temple, Fort Worth Texas Temple, Houston Texas Temple, Lubbock Texas Temple, San Antonio Texas Temple, and McAllen Texas Temple.
