LDS Temple News Presents the Austin Texas Temple

Hey there! Have you heard the wonderful news about the new Austin Texas Temple? It’s located at 1801 East Park Street in Cedar Park, and it’s generating a lot of excitement around here! The announcement came on April 3, 2022, from none other than Prophet Russell M. Nelson himself, and it’s been the talk of the town ever since.

Mark your calendar for August 17, 2024—it’s going to be a big day because that’s when Michael A. Dunn will officially kick things off with the groundbreaking and site dedication. It’s so exciting to think about how this beautiful temple will start taking shape!

Speaking of beauty, the temple will feature a lovely single attached central tower that’s bound to catch your eye. Inside, there will be two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry, ensuring that there’s a special space for everyone’s spiritual needs.

With a spacious 30,000 square feet and nestled on a fantastic 10.6-acre lot at an elevation of 897 feet, this temple will not only be a place for worship but also a lovely spot to enjoy some peaceful moments.
