Development and Construction Status
As of now, the House of the Lord is still in the planning stages, and an official construction date has yet to be announced. Recent tasks include the installation of a retaining wall, ongoing drilling for water relocation, and preparation of the lot.
A Growing Need
At the time of its announcement, there were approximately 2.2 million members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah, served by around 5,400 congregations statewide. This new addition will be the first of its kind in the city of Lehi and the eighth to be established within Utah County. It will also represent the 30th House of the Lord built in the state, reflecting the community’s ongoing growth and commitment.
Upcoming Rendering Release
Anticipation continues to build, as the rendering for the Lehi Utah Temple was released to the public on February 24, 2025. Once completed, this House of the Lord will signify a significant chapter for Lehi, contributing to the area’s spiritual landscape and serving the needs of its many congregants.
As the plans evolve, the community looks forward to seeing how the Lehi Utah Temple will enrich the lives of its inhabitants and the surrounding areas, reinforcing a shared commitment to faith and service.
