The announcement for the Lindon Utah Temple was made by Prophet Russell M. Nelson on October 4, 2020, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter for the local area. The groundbreaking and site dedication took place on April 23, 2022, performed by Elder Kevin W. Pearson, who expressed hopes for the Temple to bless the community with peace, love, and unity.

This prominent Temple is situated at 850 E Center Street Lindon, Utah 84042, covering an impressive 11.87 acres with a total floor area of 87,005 square feet. The building rises to an elevation of 4,817 feet, offering stunning views of the surrounding area.

Architectural Features

The exterior of the Lindon Utah Temple is adorned with granite, showcasing its classic and enduring style. Unique architectural features include two attached end spires and the absence of the gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue, distinguishing it from other Temples in the region.
