The groundbreaking and site dedication for the Missoula Montana Temple occurred on June 6, 2026, led by José A. Teixeira. This event signified a new chapter in the spiritual life of Missoula and its surrounding areas.
Architectural Features and Design
Covering an area of 5.08 acres, the Temple showcases a stunning exterior finish made of granite. Notably, the architectural design includes a single attached end spire, although it does not feature a Gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue.

The Missoula Montana Temple is a single-story facility, encompassing 19,000 square feet. Built at a height of 35 feet and situated at an elevation of 1,137 feet, this Temple stands as the first of its kind in the city of Missoula and also marks the first Temple in Missoula County.
