The Missoula Montana Temple will be the third Temple in the state, following the Billings Montana Temple, dedicated in November 1999, and the Helena Montana Temple, announced in April 2021.

The groundbreaking and site dedication for the Missoula Montana Temple took place on June 6, 2026, with José A. Teixeira presiding over the event. Covering an area of 5.08 acres, this building combines beauty and functionality with a total square footage of 19,000. The exterior treatment features granite, providing a striking visual appeal.
