Architectural Features and Size
Covering 17.63 acres, the Modesto California Temple stands as a single-story edifice with a total area of 30,000 square feet. Its architectural design features a single attached end spire, distinctively notable for the absence of the Gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue, a common element in many temples.
The exterior of the House of the Lord is enhanced with patterned blue-green art glass, framed with pale gold mullions. This elegant design is prominent in the dramatic arched windows of the steeple and is also mirrored in the main entrance doors. When illuminated at night, this special glass casts a radiant glow, adding to the beauty of the House of the Lord.
Interior Spaces
Inside, the Modesto California Temple will include two instructional rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry, designed to facilitate various functions within the sacred space. This thoughtful layout aims to accommodate a range of activities and aims to meet the needs of its attendees.
