The excitement culminated in a groundbreaking and dedication ceremony on October 7, 2023, led by Gary B. Sabin. At 30,000 square feet and encompassing 17.63 acres, the design features a single-story layout that includes a unique architectural attribute: a single attached end spire. The exterior art glass is characterized by a patterned blue-green hue that is complemented with pale gold mullions. This exquisite glass is prominently displayed in the dramatically arched windows of the steeple, as well as in the main entrance doors. As the anticipation builds, a public open house is scheduled from October 16 to October 31, 2026, excluding Sundays. This event will kick off with a media day on October 13, followed by two days of tours for invited guests. The culmination of this effort will be the dedication on November 22, 2026, presided over by Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. As he remarked, “This temple will be a light unto its community and a guide in times of need.”
