Significance in Oregon
The Willamette Valley Oregon Temple will be the third in the state, joining the existing Temples in Medford and Portland. President Nelson remarked, “Temples are a vital part of the Restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fulness. Ordinances of the Temple fill our lives with power and strength available in no other way. We thank God for those blessings.”
The construction and eventual opening of the Willamette Valley Oregon Temple promise to be an inspiring development for the Latter-day Saints in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. As anticipation builds, the Temple is set to become a pivotal aspect of spiritual life in the region.
