The Willamette Valley Oregon Temple is located at 3701 Corporate Way in Springfield, Oregon. The Temple spans 10.5 acres and boasts a total floor area of 30,000 square feet. Rising to a height of 120 feet, it features a single attached central spire, marking its presence in the community.
Features and Facilities
Inside, the Willamette Valley Oregon Temple includes two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry. The floral design of the Temple features beautiful Dogwood and Laurel flowers, adding an aesthetic touch to its overall ambiance.
Groundbreaking and Timeline
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on October 29, 2022, presided over by Elder Valeri V. Cordón. The public open house begins on April 23, 2026, and will run until May 9, 2026, excluding Sundays. A media day is scheduled for April 20, 2026, with invited guests touring the facility on April 21 and 22. The dedication will occur on June 7, 2026, led by Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles at 10:00 a.m., with a rebroadcast at 2:00 p.m.
