Following that announcement, an open house saw a remarkable attendance of 290,000 individuals. The official exterior rendering was released on April 7, 2020, heightening interest and excitement for this remarkable development.
Groundbreaking and Dedication
Groundbreaking and site dedication occurred on October 10, 2020, led by Brother Stapleton. The Temple was dedicated on September 17, 2023, by Apostle Quentin L. Cook, marking a significant milestone in its journey.

The Moses Lake Washington Temple sits on 17 acres of land at an elevation of 1,157 feet, with its impressive height reaching 117 feet. The total floor area is 28,933 square feet, designed with a single-story building that encompasses approximately 20,000 square feet, featuring a central spire.
Exterior and Interior Finishing
The exterior finish is comprised of Branco Cristal granite quarried from Portugal. This design features an attached central spire, along with a blossom motif, and a prairie-style border pattern that pays homage to the Native Americans indigenous to the Moses Lake area.
