The journey began on April 5, 2020, when Prophet Russell M. Nelson announced plans for this beautiful temple, sparking excitement all around. Then, on February 9, 2022, the perfect location was officially revealed, along with some stunning designs that gave everyone a glimpse of what to expect.
With 19,000 square feet to explore, this charming single-story temple is designed not just for worship but also includes a distribution center, making it a warm and welcoming spot for the whole community.
The groundbreaking on April 9, 2022, was an exciting day, marking the start of making this dream come true. And from October 16 to November 1, 2025, everyone had the chance to visit during the public open house, exploring its serene spaces and feeling its peaceful vibes.
Finally, on November 23, 2025, the Bahía Blanca Argentina Temple was dedicated, officially opening its doors to the public! This place promises to be a source of hope, connection, and joy for everyone in Bahía Blanca. We can’t wait to see how it brings the community together!
