The newly named Provo Utah Rock Canyon Temple will find its home in a breathtaking spot on Provo’s east bench, right at the mouth of stunning Rock Canyon. The temple grounds will feature a beautifully designed cascading water feature surrounded by an array of vibrant flowers, shrubs, and trees that celebrate the region’s natural beauty. Spanning approximately 163,000 square feet on 17 acres, the Provo Utah Rock Canyon Temple will include six instruction rooms, ten sealing rooms, and two baptistries—all designed to create a welcoming and inviting environment for temple patrons. On February 20, 2024, the temple will officially be renamed, and following the closure of the original structure, a new era will begin with reconstruction slated for completion in late 2027.
