Mesa AZ Temple Christmas Lights (Garden)

Welcome to the Mesa Arizona Temple, a magnificent symbol of faith and architectural brilliance in the heart of Arizona! This iconic temple, the seventh in operation, proudly stands at 101 S. LeSueur, Mesa, Arizona 85204, and holds a distinguished place in the community.

Announced on October 9, 1919, the Mesa Arizona Temple boasts a rich and meaningful history that resonates deeply. It opened its doors for a public open house from October 16 to November 20, 2021, under the guidance of Prophet Dallin H. Oaks, inviting countless visitors to experience its sacred beauty. Spanning an impressive 20 acres, this temple is truly a serene sanctuary.

The temple’s striking exterior features a sophisticated glazed eggshell finish reinforced with 130 tons of steel, ensuring it is as durable as it is beautiful. Its flat roof, adorned with sculpted friezes, showcases artistic flair while highlighting Isaiah’s prophetic symbols that resonate within its walls.

Inside, the Mesa Arizona Temple is equally remarkable, featuring four instruction rooms, six sealing rooms, and a baptistry—all within a grand 75,000 square feet. Towering at 53 feet and set at an elevation of 1,240 feet, it not only stands as the first temple built in Arizona but also a proud testament to the vision and dedication of its founders and supporters.

Once known as the Arizona Temple, this sacred space has evolved beautifully throughout the years. Transitioning from live performances to modern displays, it continually uplifts and inspires all who come to visit.
