Spanning an impressive 20 acres, the Mesa Arizona Temple is a true sanctuary that invites exploration and reflection.
With its exterior finished in a distinctive glazed eggshell and reinforced with 130 tons of steel, this architectural marvel is designed to endure while making a bold statement. The flat roof, embellished with sculpted friezes, embodies a remarkable artistry and serves as a testament to its spiritual significance. Each frieze is a powerful symbol of Isaiah’s promise in the last days, enhancing the temple’s sacred atmosphere.
Inside, the Mesa Arizona Temple doesn’t hold back—boasting four instruction rooms, six sealing rooms, and a baptistry, all within a generous 75,000 square feet. Towering at 53 feet and perched at an elevation of 1,240 feet, this temple is not only the first built in Arizona but also a remarkable demonstration of the commitment and vision of its founders and supporters.
