Groundbreaking and Dedication

The groundbreaking and site dedication took place on June 4, 2011, led by Apostle Ronald A. Rasband. Following years of careful work, the public open house ran from October 10 through November 1, 2014. After much anticipation, the dedication ceremony occurred on November 16, 2014, with Prophet Thomas S. Monson officiating.

Architectural Features

Covering an impressive 5.19 acres, the Phoenix Arizona Temple features a striking exterior finish made of precast integral colored concrete panels.
