The announcement of the temple took place on April 2, 2023, by none other than Prophet Russell M. Nelson, which kicked off a wave of anticipation. Fast forward to August 9, 2025, when the groundbreaking and site dedication ceremony was held, led by Robert M. Daines—an event that filled many hearts with hope and excitement.
Covering a spacious 11.27 acres, the temple will boast some remarkable architectural features, including a unique single attached end tower. Interestingly, it will not have a gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue, making it a one-of-a-kind design among its counterparts.
Inside, the temple will offer two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a single baptistry, providing ample space for worship and community gatherings. With a total area of 30,000 square feet, this majestic building will create a serene environment for spiritual reflection.
