A public open house for the recently completed Lindon Utah Temple has been announced for Thursday, March 12 through Saturday, April 11, 2026

Lindon Utah Temple Open House from March 12, 2026, through April 11, 2026. Get ready to embrace an exciting new chapter in our community with the arrival of the Lindon Utah Temple! Set against the stunning backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains, this new temple is poised to become a vibrant symbol of faith, unity, and inspiration.

The journey toward this remarkable addition began on April 23, 2022, with a momentous groundbreaking ceremony led by Elder Kevin W. Pearson, President of the Utah Area. That crisp spring morning was filled with anticipation and hope as shovels broke the ground, marking the start of a project that aims to bring peace, love, and a sense of belonging to our community.

Upon its completion, the Lindon Utah Temple will amaze visitors with its impressive three-story structure encompassing over 87,005 square feet of sacred space. The temple’s striking granite exterior and majestic double spires towering towards the sky symbolize a profound connection between heaven and earth. Its architectural design pays homage to the area’s agricultural heritage, incorporating artistic elements that celebrate the beautiful linden tree flower.

Inside, the temple will foster an inviting atmosphere, designed for all to gather and engage in spiritual reflection. It will feature four expansive instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and two baptistries—each thoughtfully crafted to facilitate moments of personal and communal growth in faith. Every detail has been meticulously considered, ensuring that the temple serves as a true sanctuary for spirituality.

But the experience extends beyond the temple walls! The beautifully landscaped grounds will include a picturesque gathering area in the northeast corner, perfect for bridal parties and photography enthusiasts to capture unforgettable moments against the backdrop of the temple and the majestic Mt. Timpanogos. An accommodating parking area will ensure easy access for everyone.

Save the dates! From March 12 to April 11, 2026, the public will have the unique opportunity to explore the temple during an open house. This is a fantastic chance to experience the temple’s beauty and spirit up close before it officially opens its doors on May 3, 2026.

The Lindon Utah Temple will serve not just as a building but as a hub of hope and connection for approximately 11,000 residents in the area. As the twenty-fifth temple in Utah, it stands as a powerful testament to faith and community values. This temple is set to enrich the lives of many, fostering connections and shared moments of joy and reflection. We eagerly await the positive impact this beautiful place will have on our community!
