On January 20, 2026 the address was announced for the Kahului Hawaii Temple located at 1300 Maui Lani Parkway, Kahului, Hawaii, the Kahului Hawaii Temple will span approximately 19,000 square feet on a beautiful 7.6 acres of land, positioned at an elevation of 230 feet.

The Kahului Hawaii Temple is set to become a significant addition to the community, with plans unveiled the announcement during the October 2023 General Conference by the Prophet Russell M. Nelson.

While there are currently no public renderings available for this stunning single-story Kahului Hawaii Temple, anticipation is building as more details will be unveiled soon. Although the groundbreaking and site dedication dates haven’t been announced yet, we’ll make sure to keep everyone updated as soon as we learn more!

This Kahului Hawaii Temple will hold special significance as it will be the very first to be established in the city of Maui, serving a thriving community of over 75,000 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—an impressive network of around 145 congregations. 

Just a short distance away, about twenty-five miles from the site, lies the area that faced devastating wildfires in August 2025. The construction of the Kahului Hawaii Temple represents hope and renewal for the people of Maui.
