Austin Texas Temple Construction by LDS Temple News the temple is also known by the name Austin Texas Temple. The Austin Texas Temple, located at 1801 East Park Street in Cedar Park, Texas, is a significant religious structure with various notable features and milestones. 

The announcement for the temple was made on April 3, 2022, by Prophet Russell M. Nelson, marking an exciting development for the local community. Following this, the groundbreaking and site dedication took place on August 17, 2024, led by Michael A. Dunn.

Architecturally, the temple is designed with a central tower that is single and attached, adding to its visual appeal. The building encompasses 30,000 square feet and is situated on a 10.6-acre lot, providing ample space for its facilities, which include two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and one baptistry. 

The elevation of the temple is 897 feet, which contributes to its prominence in the area. Additionally, a rendering of the temple was released to the public on September 5, 2023, giving a glimpse into the beautiful design and layout that will soon serve the community.
