Austin Texas Temple Photography by LDS Temple News. Hey there! Have you heard the wonderful news about the Austin Texas Temple? It’s going to be such a fantastic addition to our Cedar Park community! Located at 1801 East Park Street, this beautiful temple is already creating a buzz.

The announcement made by Prophet Russell M. Nelson on April 3, 2022, was just the beginning! You’ll want to save the date for August 17, 2024, when Michael A. Dunn will lead the groundbreaking and site dedication. It’s going to be an exciting milestone!

The architectural design of the temple is simply stunning! With its elegant single attached central tower, it’s sure to catch your eye. Inside, there will be all the lovely spaces needed for spiritual experiences, including two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry. 

Can you believe it will be 30,000 square feet? That’s a lot of space for gatherings and worship! Plus, it’s set on a lovely 10.6-acre lot at an elevation of 897 feet, which will offer beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere.

And if you caught a glimpse of the temple’s rendering released on September 5, 2023, you’ll agree it looks like a true sanctuary. We’re all so excited about the special moments this temple will bring to our community. Can’t wait to see you there!
