The journey of the Brigham City Utah Temple began on October 3, 2009, when the announcement was made by Prophet Thomas S. Monson during the 179th Semiannual General Conference. The excitement reached new heights with the groundbreaking and site dedication on July 31, 2010, officiated by Apostle Boyd K. Packer.
