The Lindon Utah Temple is set to become an important addition to the vibrant landscape of Utah County. Announced on October 4, 2020, by Prophet Russell M. Nelson, this impressive edifice reflects both the spiritual aspirations and architectural vision of the area.

Architectural Highlights
Located at 850 E Center Street, Lindon, Utah, the Temple occupies 11.87 acres at an elevation of 4,817 feet. The exterior features beautiful granite, embodying both elegance and strength. Distinctive architectural elements are on display, including two end spires, though the Temple does not feature a gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue.
Inside, the Lindon Utah Temple boasts a total floor area of 87,005 square feet, complete with four instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and two baptistries. Each instruction room accommodates 50 individuals, ensuring ample space for learning and connection.
Unique Design Elements
The Temple’s interior decor celebrates the area’s agrarian roots, prominently featuring motifs such as the Linden Tree Flower in the stained glass and throughout various spaces.
Additionally, a carefully designed area at the northeast corner allows bridal parties to take stunning photographs, with the Temple serving as a breathtaking backdrop for their special moments. Surrounding the Temple, visitors will find a circular parking lot enclosed with elegant black ornamental fencing, thoughtfully enhancing the overall experience.
Serving the Lindon Area
The Lindon Utah Temple is set to support the small city of Lindon, which has a population of approximately 11,000 people. Situated just south of Pleasant Grove and north of Orem, it will be the 25th dedicated Temple in Utah, further enriching the state’s spiritual landscape. As the seventh Temple constructed in Utah County, its significance cannot be overlooked.
