Introducing the Mesa Arizona Temple, a stunning beacon of faith and architecture nestled in the heart of Arizona! This remarkable structure, the seventh dedicated temple currently in operation, is located at 101 S. LeSueur, Mesa, Arizona 85204, and holds a special place in the hearts of many.

Announced on October 9, 1919, this temple has a rich history that reflects the spirit of the community. The public was invited to explore its sacred halls during a memorable open house from October 16 to November 20, 2021, hosted by the esteemed Prophet Dallin H. Oaks. Spanning 20 acres, the Mesa Arizona Temple invites visitors to experience its beauty and serenity.

Built to impress, the temple’s exterior showcases a unique glazed eggshell finish reinforced with 130 tons of steel, ensuring both durability and elegance. Architectural enthusiasts will appreciate the flat roof adorned with sculpted friezes that add a touch of artistry and significance to the structure. Each frieze symbolizes Isaiah’s promise in the last days, enhancing the spiritual ambiance of the temple.

Inside, the temple is just as impressive, boasting four instruction rooms, six sealing rooms, and a baptistry, all within a spacious 75,000 square feet. Standing tall at 53 feet and set at an elevation of 1,240 feet, the Mesa Arizona Temple is not only the first temple built in Arizona but also a testament to the unwavering dedication of its founders and supporters.

Originally known as the Arizona Temple, this sacred space has evolved over the years, transitioning from live performances to modern displays that continue to inspire and uplift.
