As the seventh dedicated temple currently in operation, this impressive structure is located at 101 S. LeSueur, Mesa, Arizona 85204, and it stands as a testament to the community’s strength and spirit.

Announced on October 9, 1919, the Mesa Arizona Temple boasts a rich history that resonates deeply with many. Its doors were opened to the public during an unforgettable open house from October 16 to November 20, 2021, led by the revered Prophet Dallin H. Oaks. Spanning an expansive 20 acres, the temple invites all to experience its profound beauty and tranquility.

A true architectural marvel, the temple’s exterior features an elegant glazed eggshell finish reinforced with 130 tons of steel, ensuring both resilience and sophistication. The flat roof, adorned with sculpted friezes, adds an artistic flair and symbolizes Isaiah’s promise in the last days, enriching the temple’s spiritual atmosphere.

Inside, the Mesa Arizona Temple continues to impress with four instruction rooms, six sealing rooms, and a baptistry, all within an inviting 75,000 square feet. Towering at 53 feet and perched at an elevation of 1,240 feet, this temple proudly holds the title of the first built in Arizona, a significant milestone in its history.

Previously named the Arizona Temple, this sacred space has successfully adapted over the years, evolving from live performances to modern displays that captivate and inspire all who enter.
