The Willamette Valley Oregon Temple is set to open its doors for a public open house starting April 23, 2026, with a special dedication scheduled for June 7, 2026. This significant milestone follows President Russell M. Nelson’s announcement on April 4, 2021, reflecting the vibrant faith of over 154,000 members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oregon.

Nestled at 3701 Corporate Way in Springfield, the temple spans a beautiful 10.5 acres and features a majestic central spire that rises 120 feet into the sky. Inside, the temple boasts two instructional rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry, all thoughtfully designed within 30,000 square feet of sacred space.

The groundbreaking ceremony, presided over by Elder Valeri V. Cordón on October 29, 2022, marked a meaningful beginning for Latter-day Saints in the region, whose rich history dates back to settlers arriving in 1887. As the countdown begins, this temple stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of community and faith, inviting all to find inspiration and connection within its walls.
