Construction of the Austin Texas Temple. Hey there! Have you heard about the Austin Texas Temple? It’s such an exciting addition to our Cedar Park community! Located at 1801 East Park Street, this new temple is set to bring a wonderful spiritual place for everyone.

The journey began on April 3, 2022, when Prophet Russell M. Nelson made the big announcement. And guess what? The groundbreaking ceremony is coming up on August 17, 2024! Michael A. Dunn will be leading this special event, marking the start of something truly beautiful.

The design of the temple is just gorgeous! With its lovely single attached central tower, it’s going to be a lovely sight on the Cedar Park skyline. Inside, there will be two instruction rooms, two sealing rooms, and a baptistry, making sure there’s plenty of room for spiritual gatherings.

Covering 30,000 square feet and sitting on a spacious 10.6-acre lot elevated at 897 feet, it’s going to be a peaceful retreat for all. Have you seen the rendering that was shared with the public on September 5, 2023? It’s breathtaking and gives us a sneak peek of what’s to come!
