Introducing the Mesa Arizona Temple, a remarkable testament to faith and architectural brilliance! Located at 101 S. LeSueur, Mesa, Arizona 85204, this temple stands as the seventh dedicated temple in operation and holds a revered place in the community.

Announced on October 9, 1919, the Mesa Arizona Temple boasts a rich legacy that resonates with visitors and members alike. Its doors welcomed the public during a grand open house from October 16 to November 20, 2021, hosted by the esteemed Prophet Dallin H. Oaks. Spanning a generous 20 acres, this temple is a sanctuary of peace and spiritual significance.

The exterior, featuring a striking glazed eggshell finish reinforced with 130 tons of steel, not only ensures durability but also captivates with its elegance. Architectural aficionados will admire the flat roof adorned with sculpted friezes, each telling a story and symbolizing Isaiah’s promise in the last days—infusing the temple with profound meaning.

Inside, the temple impresses with sophistication and purpose. It encompasses four instruction rooms, six sealing rooms, and a baptistry—all within an expansive 75,000 square feet. Standing proudly at a height of 53 feet, and situated at an elevation of 1,240 feet, the Mesa Arizona Temple is not only the first temple built in Arizona but also a shining beacon of community dedication and spiritual devotion.

Once known simply as the Arizona Temple, this sacred space has embraced modernity, transitioning from live performances to innovative displays that continue to inspire all who enter.
