The Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple can be found at 742 N 900 E, American Fork, Utah 84003. This remarkable building was initially announced on October 3, 1992, leading to its groundbreaking and site dedication on October 9, 1993, led by Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley.
The public had the chance to tour the Temple from August 6, 1996, through September 21, 1996, attracting over 679,217 guests. The Temple was later dedicated over a series of days from October 13 to October 19, 1996, also by Gordon B. Hinckley.
Architectural Features
Constructed on 16.7 acres, the Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple features a stunning exterior finished in sierra white granite. The art glass windows and bronze doors add to its grandeur. Architectural characteristics include a single attached end spire topped with a gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue, adding a celestial element to its appearance.
