Nestled at 250 S Main St, Brigham City, Utah 84302, the Brigham City Utah Temple stands as the 139th dedicated Temple in operation. The journey to its completion began on October 3, 2009, when the Prophet Thomas S. Monson announced its construction during the 179th Semiannual General Conference.
A Milestone in Construction
The groundbreaking and site dedication took place on July 31, 2010, under the direction of Apostle Boyd K. Packer. Following years of anticipation, the public open house ran from August 15 to September 15, 2012, offering a first look at its intricate design. The official dedication occurred on September 23, 2012, once again led by Apostle Boyd K. Packer.
Architectural Highlights
Spanning an impressive 36,000 square feet and standing 165 feet tall at an elevation of 4,454 feet, this Temple is built on 3.14 acres. The exterior finish features elegant precast concrete limestone, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. Two attached end spires are topped with a gold-leafed Angel Moroni statue, which was installed in a stunning 50-minute process witnessed by around 5,000 people.

The Brigham City Utah Temple is designed with functionality in mind. It includes two instruction rooms, three sealing rooms, and one baptistry, catering to various sacred activities. Interestingly, it does not have a meetinghouse in its parking lot, creating a unique environment focused solely on the Temple experience.

Visitors can take advantage of ample parking options, including 123 surface stalls, 29 street stalls, and 130 underground stalls. The underground garage is accessible via the west side of the Temple, ensuring easy access for those arriving by vehicle.
