The journey to the completion of this remarkable Temple began with its announcement on April 2, 2011, by then-Prophet Thomas S. Monson. The groundbreaking ceremony, signifying the start of construction, took place on August 24, 2013, led by Ronald A. Rasband. Fast forward to October 16, 2016, when the Temple was officially dedicated by Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf, marking a significant moment in the region’s spiritual landscape.
