The official announcement of the Ephraim Utah Temple came on May 1, 2021, generating enthusiasm throughout the region. Less than a year and a quarter later, Prophet Russell M. Nelson presided over the groundbreaking and site dedication ceremony on August 27, 2022—a momentous occasion that set construction in motion on this important religious edifice.
