Feather River California Temple by LDS Temple News.
The Feather River California Temple was announced on October 7, 2018. The groundbreaking occurred on July 18, 2020, by Paul H. Watkins. The Feather River Temple is built on a 9.4-acre lot. The Temple’s architectural features include four instruction rooms, three sealing rooms, and one baptistry. The total floor area of the Temple is 41,484. The Feather River temple is constructed with precast concrete panels and steel. The landscape design is inspired by hackberry trees already on the temple site, native oak, and redwood trees. Many of the Olive trees are over 100 years old that were transplanted from a nearby orchard. The Feather River Templ has a steel picket fence, which is powder-coated with bronze color. The interior of the Feather River California Temple has the following ceiling: the Temple ordinances spaced, which are vaulted. The doors in the building are made of cherry wood, the hinges are brass, and many have abstract flora forms. All interior lights are made of brass, and many in the ordinance spaces have crystal added. The windows in the building feature almond blossoms, representing the area’s agricultural industry.
