Situated at 2180 Majestic Dr, Fort Collins, CO 80528, the Temple is set on an expansive 15.69 acres, with a chapel located across the residential street. The design features an elegant façade crafted from beige concrete panels, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. Dominating the skyline is a single attached central tower, which is topped with a striking gold-leafed Angel Moroni statue that was installed on August 26, 2015.
A Brief History
The journey to the Temple’s completion began with a significant announcement from Prophet Thomas S. Monson on April 2, 2011, sparking excitement in the local area. Groundbreaking and site dedication occurred on August 24, 2013, officiated by Ronald A. Rasband.
After years of dedicated effort, the Temple opened its doors for a public open house from August 19 to September 10, 2016. During these weeks, an impressive 105,000 individuals had the opportunity to explore the facility and experience its beauty firsthand.
The formal dedication took place on October 16, 2016, led by Apostle Dieter F. Uchtdorf.

Covering 42,000 square feet and rising to a height of 112 feet, the Fort Collins Colorado Temple is designed to accommodate various sacred activities. Inside, you will find two instruction rooms, three sealing rooms, and a baptistry, all purposefully arranged to enhance the experience of those who come to engage in its offerings.
With an elevation of 4,921 feet, the Temple not only offers stunning views of its natural surroundings but also serves as a thoughtful addition to the area’s aesthetic charm.
