A History of Dedication and Service
The journey of the Fort Collins Colorado Temple began with the groundbreaking and site dedication on August 24, 2013, led by Ronald A. Rasband. This moment marked the start of a new chapter for the faithful in Fort Collins and surrounding areas.
After years of anticipation, the Temple opened its doors to the public for a memorable open house from August 19 through September 10, 2016. During this time, it attracted a remarkable 105,000 attendees who came to experience its beauty.
The formal dedication took place on October 16, 2016, with the Apostle Dieter F. Uchtdorf officiating the ceremony. This event solidified the Temple’s role in the spiritual landscape of Colorado.
Architectural Features
Encompassing 15.69 acres, the Fort Collins Colorado Temple boasts elegant beige concrete panels and measures a generous 42,000 square feet. Towering at 112 feet, it features a single attached central tower crowned with a stunning gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue, which was installed on August 26, 2015.
The interior is thoughtfully designed, featuring two instruction rooms, three sealing rooms, and a baptistry, catering to various ceremonial needs. A chapel across the residential street enhances the essential services offered here.

As the second Temple established in Colorado, the Fort Collins Colorado Temple stands testament to the enduring faith of its congregants. Announced by the Prophet Thomas S.
