Situated at 2200 Temple Hill Dr, Provo, UT 84604, the temple will encompass a sprawling 17-acre site, slightly larger than its predecessor, which occupied 15 acres. This increase is made possible by the elimination of a road in front of the old temple. And don’t worry about parking—although there won’t be a shared lot, a convenient one will be available across the street.
A Stunning Architectural Marvel
The Provo Utah Rock Canyon Temple promises to be a breathtaking architectural masterpiece. The temple will feature an impressive 163,000 square feet of sacred space topped with a single attached central spire that will rise 265 feet 6 inches (81 meters) into the sky. While it won’t showcase the iconic gold-leafed Angel Moroni, the current statue is safely stored away, waiting for its next adventure.
