Nestled at 3301 S Greenfield Rd in Gilbert, Arizona, the Gilbert Arizona Temple stands as the 142nd dedicated Temple in operation. Announced on April 26, 2008, this impressive facility boasts unique architectural features and a rich history, captivating those who come to learn more about it.

The groundbreaking and site dedication took place on November 13, 2010, led by Elder Claudio R.M. Costa. Following years of anticipation, the public open house ran from January 18 through February 15, 2014, drawing an astonishing 407,020 attendees eager to experience its beauty firsthand.

The official dedication occurred on March 2, 2014, officiated by the Prophet Thomas S. Monson, with Henry B. Eyring reading the dedicatory prayer. Covering an area of 15.38 acres, the Temple measures an impressive 85,326 square feet and rises to a height of 195 feet.

The exterior is finished with precast concrete panels, contributing to its striking appearance. One of the defining features of the Gilbert Arizona Temple is the single attached central spire, which is topped with a Gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue that was placed on May 15, 2012.

Inside, the Temple contains three instruction rooms, seven sealing rooms, and one baptistry, providing a serene atmosphere for personal reflection and learning. The elevation of the site is 1,269 feet, offering stunning views of the surrounding area.
