The Heber Valley Utah Temple was officially announced on October 3, 2021, during the General Conference. Following this, the groundbreaking and site dedication took place on October 8, 2022, led by the Prophet Russell M. Nelson. Impressive Size and Architectural Features
Set to occupy an 18.17-acre lot, the Heber Valley Utah Temple will boast an impressive footprint of 87,626 square feet, solidifying its status as a large Temple within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Standing at a height of 210 feet, and situated at an elevation of 6,711 feet, this Temple promises to be a striking addition to the breathtaking landscape of Heber Valley.
The design will feature two attached end towers, distinguishing it from many other Temples, as it will not include a Gold-leafed Angel Moroni Statue. Inside, the Temple will house four instruction rooms, four sealing rooms, and a single baptistry, providing a variety of spaces for sacred purposes.
